Login with your Broker Account

You can login in app with your Broker Account. This option allows you to see your positions and handle your orders.
If Remember me option is selected your user name is being stored at current device (password is not being stored for Broker accounts).
If Clear cache is selected then application is forced to retrieve all trades from the server.



Organize

Main Screens

The application is organized into 12 main screens, the content of which is defined by the user.
To Open the Organize screen click at Back icon (at left bottom corner).
In this display the user can change the screen order by dragging the small thumbnails in a new location.
By dragging any thumbnail over the Recycle Bin (at bottom) you can delete its contents.

Navigation Bar

Any screen can be selected by clicking at correspond number in the bottom line (in a PC keyboard a user can press the F1...F12 keys to select the correspond screen).

Small Screens

In any of 12 screens you can add a small one. When a screen is active from Options icon (on right bottom corner) select Add small Screen and then select the desired content of the small screen.



By clicking at any symbol on main screen (if it is a Watchlist or Portfolio or Heat Map etc.) the contents of the small screen (when it is a detail screen as Quote,Chart,B.Sheets or Order etc.) change immediately according to your selection.
You can click again on the same symbol to activate symbol menu or (in this case a right or long click can be used to directly open the symbol menu).
When the detail screen is active (click on any point of small screen space) you can select Options icon again to switch its content between Quote, Chart and B.Sheets or Order. By using the Slider icon you can change the small screen size.
A small screen can be removed by pressing the Options icon and select Remove small Screen.

Temporary Screens

By clicking at a symbol and then selecting an action from symbol's menu (e.g. Quote,Chart,B.Sheet,Order etc) a temporary screen is open over current main screen. A small blue rectangle around the Screen number indicates that the screen is temporary. You can decide to Pin this Screen (Options icon -> Pin Screen) or remove it by clicking at Back icon (or Esc in keyboard or back button at phone).

Hide Navigation and Menu Bars

You can drag from left bottom corner to outside in order to hide the Navigation and Menu bar, as a result you have more usable space in your phone device.
Bars can be restored by dragging the left bottom corner to the center of the screen. When the bars are invisible you can move to Organize screen by dragging the right bottom corner to the center of the screen.





Orders and Portfolios

Place Order

In order to place an order you can:

a. Right (or long) click on a symbol and select Buy or Sell on menu.
b. From Options icon (on right bottom corner) select New Screen (or Add small Screen) and then Portfolios -> New Order.
c. On Tablet or PC simple click on bid or ask price/size of symbol row in a Watchlist/Portfolio.
d. From Order List click on an order and select Clone Order.

The order window will be open as temporary (full) screen in a Phone or as small pop-up window in a Tablet or PC.

When you fill all fields press the Place Order button to preview your order, and then press Yes (or Enter) to send the order.

You can close the order window (without send the order) by:

a. Click at the Back icon (at left bottom corner)
b. Click at any Screen number at bottom line (activate the selected screen and close the dialog).
c. Pressing Esc key on PC keyboard.

View Orders / Change / Delete

To view your Orders List you can press the positions icon at the top right of Portfolio screen or Order Screen. By pressing the orders icon at the same location you can return to the Position View.
From Order List you can:

a. Click at any order row to activate menu in order to Clone, Change, Cancel this order or All Orders of the current portfolio.
b. Click at Change or Delete icons in order to change or cancel the selected order.

By selecting the Only Active option (at top-left corner) you can hide canceled or filled orders.
By selecting the Trades tab (at top-right corner) you can view only your executions and group them by symbol.


Portfolios

To view your Positions:

a. From Options icon (on right bottom corner) select New Screen (or Add small Screen) and then Portfolios -> Portfolio.
b. Select screen 2 at bottom line or press F2 at your PC keyboard (if you have keep the default configuration).


Right (or Long) click on any column label to remove current column or add a new one after it.
Drag the summary/performance pane to see summary or performance or distribution of your portfolio.


Application Status

At the bottom of the navigation bar there are information about the status of the application. The Connection Status changes color from blue ( the last update was a few seconds ago ) to red ( the last update was 1 minute ago ). The Market Update Time shows the time of the last update, based on the time of purchase. The memory indicator shows the memory used by the application. The operating system gives each application about 32Mb. When the used memory exceeds a certain threshold (about 60 Mb), the operating system may stop meeting the demands of the application for additional memory and the application can not function properly, without always informing the user about it.

Settings

Current device settings

The settings screen can be opened from the Organize menu by selecting the Settings screen thumbnail.The settings include:
a. Font Size : You can set the font size to Small / Normal / Large / Larger to make it easier to read.
b. Line Height : Changing the line height, automatically increases the size of the buttons so you can press them easily.

c. Energy Save : You can reduce or increase the update rate of the application from 1 second to 4 to increase or decrease the battery consumption and the amount of data you download. You have the following options:

(i). Smart With this option, the application automatically varies the update rate from bellow 1 second to 4 seconds, depending on time passed from last action, the type of internet connection and depending on whether you are running on battery or you are connected to a charger.
(ii). Always Economic With this option, the update rate varies from 2 to 4 seconds and only depends on the type of the internet connection and if you are running on battery or you are connected to a charger.
(iii). Not EconomicWith this option, the update rate is always bellow 1 second. The battery consumption is mainly affected by the type of connection (3G connection consumes 3x energy than WiFi connection), and secondarily by user actions on application.

d. Auto exit on idle : The application closes automatically after the time specified in the option 10 minutes / 1 hour / 2 hours to stop consuming energy and data.Under a battery level (30%) it will ignore this option and will be turned off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
e. Change Password : Use this button to change your password (It is applicable only for a MetricTrade UserName/Password).
f. Use vibration on Alerts : You can enable or disable vibration when viewing a new alert.
g. Remember me : Store username (password only for a MetricTrade account) in the app.
h. Green/Red Color : Use Green/Red color instead of Blue/Red.
i. Portfolios Values in Short Format : Show short representation of values and cut decimals in portfolios, like 23.34K instead of 23.340,12.
All of the above settings are related to the particular device and are not transferred like the other elements of your choices.

Watchlists

Open

To open a Watchlist from Options icon (on right bottom corner) select New Screen and then Markets -> Watchlists. or select screen 3 at bottom line or press F3 at your PC keyboard (if you choose to keep the default configuration).

Edit

You can add a symbol in the list by simply typing in at the "Add Symbol" textbox, you can also remove it by right(or long)-clicking at it and selecting "Remove". By pressing the button at the left upper corner you can switch to edit mode. From there you can also add/remove sumbols or change their order by pressing the Move Up / Down buttons. You can also create a new list or rename one.
You can click at Watchlist name (top center) to select another list. Watchlists as all the application's data, are being stored at your personal profile and as a result they are common across all your devices (when you login with the same username).



Add Remove Columns

Right (or long) click on any column label to remove current column or add a new one after it.
By dragging a column you can change its width.
Click on a column label to sort list according to these column data in ascending or descending order. Click again to remove sorting.



Column Sets

By clicking at Bell icon (at the top left) you can change the column set to Trading, Performance, Fundamental and Pre/After Market (the last column set is same as Trading with addition of columns Pre/After Market Price and Change and it is auto selected when market is in Pre or After hours session). You can alter these column sets by adding or removing columns or changing their width. All column sets are saved to your personal profile.

Click on Symbol Name

The most important application's functionality is being achieved by clicking at any symbol name. You only need a simple click to open symbol menu and select any action on it.
In case which a small screen exists (by adding small screen from options icon) the first click on symbol sends this symbol to small screen and a second click is needed to open the symbol menu (in this case a right or long click can be used to directly open the symbol menu).

Technical Analysis

Open

In order to open a new chart right (or long) click on a symbol and select Chart on menu or select Chart from Menu icon (on upper left corner), or select Chart from Options icon (on bottom right corner).
In technical analysis of the application you can see live charts in periods 5/10/30/60/120/240 minutes/day/week/month for time intervals of 120 days for intraday data ,10 years for daily and 15 years for weekly/monthly.

Add Indicators

You can add indicators and moving averages by pressing at Menu icon (at upper left corner).
Choose another symbol by clicking at its' edit box (at top left corner) or click at symbol name (at top center) and pick a symbol from your recent symbol list.
Change the chart interval with interval icon (at left upper corner).
Zoom in or zoom out by pressing the Substract or Add icons (at right upper space of the chart).

Glance View

By pressing the Hand icon (at upper right corner), you can select the glance view where you can watch 2 or 4 symbol charts simutaneously.

Draw Lines

Switch the cursor mode with Hand icon (at upper right corner) to the Normal, Floating Info Window or Drawing mode in order to draw lines.
You can select more drawing modes (Fibonacci Retracements, Rectangle or even Text) by pressing at Menu icon and then select Draw Lines.
Right (or long) click on a draw line to change its' color, style or delete it.

Change Parameters

Click on a line or indicator to change its parameters or color or to add a moving average on it.
You can save the set of indicators on the chart as your default template by choosing Menu icon and then select Set as default, after that any new chart will open with your saved overlays and indicators with your personal parameters.

Fundamentals

20 Recent Quarters

The Fundamental data are the most important data in stock analysis.
For the Fundamental analysis needs the application provides up to 20 recent quarters full with data along with its graphical representation.

Open

To open a Fundamental data view, right (or long) click on a symbol and select B.Sheets on menu or from Options icon (on right bottom corner) select B.Sheets.
The user can click in any row of Ballance Sheet in order to get its graphical represantion and click at the same row again to remove it from graph. The graph area can be resized by dragging the Slider icon .
Please note that in Quarterly graphs the Debt represented as one quarter of Debt (Debt/4) in order to be comparable with quarter sales and earnings.

Fundamental Rules

The most important rules in Fundamental analysis from a trader view are:
The stock price increase in long term must be supported with the sales increase.
The earnings increase must be supported with sales increase.
As result it is advisable to trade stocks with positive Revenue (sales) changes by checking the Revenue 1 year Change % (most recent four quarters sales against its previous year corresponds) and the Revenue 3 year Change (most recent twelve quarters sales against its previous year coresponds).

A rich set of Financial ratios along with its changes in 1 or is provided in all views (Watchlist or Quote).
In order to get the Fundamental view on your Watchlists you can click at Bell icon (at the top left) and then select Fundamental from the menu.

Quote

Open

To open a Quote right (or long) click on a symbol in a view and select Quote on menu.

Quote Options

The available options in Quote screen are News, Graph, Sales, L2, Fundamentals and Perf. You can select each one of them by simply clicking on it or dragging the lower part of the quote screen right or left. In the Sales tab you can see the symbol Trades and in L2 the Bid/Ask table. By clicking at Maximize icon you can expand the options area and then restore it with the same action.

Change Quote View

You can remove or add any column by right (or long click) on any column label.



Quick Switch

From Options icon (on right bottom corner) you can directly switch to the Chart, Balance Sheets, Options or Buy/Sell screen for the same symbol.



Heat Map

Heat maps are industry-proven investment tools that synthesize complex data to help you make faster and better trading decisions.

Open

To open a Heat Map from Options icon (on right bottom corner) select New Screen and then Markets -> Heat Map. or select screen 4 at bottom line or press F4 at your PC keyboard (if you have keep the default configuration).
Tip : If you do not have already a small screen bellow you Heat Map select Options icon -> Add small Screen -> Stocks -> and the choose Quote or Chart or B.Sheets. After that by clicking at any symbol on Heat Map you can immediate have its' Quote or Chart in the small screen.
Click at the small screen (to activate them) and from Options icon switch its contents to Chart, Balance Sheets or Order .



Other Value to Compare

By clicking at right label (Change %) you can select another value to compare from the menu.
The displayed color depends on characteristic value. The covered stock area depends always on its Market Capitalization.



Alerts

In the Alerts screen you can put alerts on whether a title is above or below a price.

You can also add a comment that will be displayed along with the alert.

From the application settings (paragraph 3), you can enable or disable vibration accompanying the appearance of an alert.

CAUTION: Alerts do not work when the application is not running.

Advisors

Open

In order to open a new advisor right (or long) click on a symbol and select Chart on menu, or select Chart from Options icon (on right bottom corner). Then click icon (on left upper corner) and select Advisors and then select option Edit Advisors

General options:

Button Clone as new. User can clone existing configuration as a new advisor.

Button Show/Hide. User can show (or hide) the result in a graph.

Button Reset. User can reset to the initial values of the variables that are visible on the screen.

Options Used to Buy/Used to Short. User can choose if he is used to buy or short usually.

Label Starts at. Under that label users select the start date (month and year) that advisor starts calculating results.

Options Take Profit%/Take Profit Pips. User adds percentage or actual profit (close value * 1/1000) and when the condition is satisfied then the advisor releases a buy or sell signal accordingly.

Options Stop Loss%/Stop Trail%/Stop Loss Pips/Stop Trail Pips. User adds percentage or actual loss (close value * 1/1000) and when the condition is satisfied then the advisor releases a buy or sell signal accordingly.

Variables:

User can add a variable by selecting an index or a mathematical function or a signal.

Variable Index. User can choose among many indexes (currently 12) and can easily parameterize their parameters.

Variable Mathematical Function. User can apply 10 mathematical functions between 2 indexes.

Variable Signal. User can apply a relation between a variable and a number or a relation between close/open/high/low price and a number or volume and a price.A relation can be: crosses over / crosses under / double cross in / bigger than / smaller than and equals.

Signals:

User can set signals in order to guide the advisor to release a buy/sell signal if the applied criteria match.

Signal Buy or Sell. A buy or sell signal can be triggered when a relation between a variable or close/open/high/low price and another variable or close/open/high/low price is satisfied.A relation can be :n crosses over / crosses under / double cross in / bigger than / smaller than and equals.

Signal And. A buy or sell signal can be triggered if 2 or more buy or sell signals are satisfied.

Signal Or. A buy or sell signal can be triggered if at least one among n buy or sell signals is satisfied.

Desktop Version

Desktop version of the application has the same functionality with the mobile version, but also offers some features to better organize one or more screens in your PC aimed at improving the functionality of the application.

UI/UX

UI/UX

In the Desktop version of US Stocks One the user has 4 different Screens to set up, besides the Mobile screen which is the one you see from your mobile devices. You can add your Portfolio view in one screen, your stock listing with quotes and charts in another etc.

You can add many windows on each Desk view, then move and rearrange every window in the way you like. From the bottom right corner a window can change its size or by moving it on the edges of the screen. Also the main window size for each Desk view can be set the way you want.

General options

General options:

From the Window menu you can add a new window to the existing Desk view or switch between the windows you already have at this Desk view. Also, you can go to the Settings window.

Lock/Unlock

All Quote and Chart windows have a locked/unlocked icon (on upper right corner). The user can lock or unlock a quote or chart window to a specific symbol.

This means that when the icon is on a quote/chart window, then if the user clicks at a symbol on his list, it will show up on any unlocked window.

But if a quote/chart window has the icon, then it will stick to the same symbol no matter what the user clicks on his list.

Preview Windows

Preview

On the Taskbar of your PC or Mac you can see the preview of all your screens at the Desk view you have selected.

Top List Indexes

Top List

At the top of the main window there are some predefined symbols. You can change them by selecting the 'Top List Indexes' list from your list view menu, where you can add or remove symbols in order to show them on the top list.
